Brasil Fest Brno
The weekend festival Brasil Fest Brno is the biggest Latin event in the Czech Republic. It gives you a chance to experience the heart of Brno beating to the rhythm of samba and a colossal wave of carnival energy
- summer festival full of Brazilian music, fiery dance and spontaneous excitement
- carnival procession conducted by the percussionist Jakub Škrha and Star Dance winner Veronika Lálová
- concerts of artists from around the world, samba, capoeira, and drumming
- besides a cultural programme, it also offers creative workshops for children and adults and an introduction to Brazilian cuisine
- the festival was created in 2020 with thanks to Albino Ernesto Poli Junior, envoy at the Brazilian embassy in Prague, in collaboration with TIC BRNO and Ritmo Factory to celebrate 100 years of Czech-Brazilian relations.
