Testimonials
“For me personally, the Brno 2028 project, following on preparations for the candidacy to be the European Capital of Culture, represents the start of a new, auspicious chapter in the history of the Brno Exhibition Centre. The ever-growing interest in our architectural guidebook and guided tours of the area show that TIC Brno has managed in recent years return the exhibition centre to the city’s cultural map as an exceptionally important monument to modern architecture. But what kind of exhibition centre do we want to offer visitors from across the world on the anniversary of its founding in 2028? TIC Brno is preparing together with Trade Fairs Brno a project to transform the historic parts of the exhibition centre into an entirely modern urban space full of art and culture that will, in the spirit of Brno’s trade fair and industrial tradition, have space for various sectors of the creative industry. I look forward to seeing the flagship of the exhibition centre, Pavilion A, successfully transform into an attractive space for various events that will rightly make other European cities envious of Brno.”
