Testimonials

“B16 isn’t just an international short film festival, it is like an ever-growing family, a shared and surreal concept, and a confirmation that the future of film is in good hands. Once a year, B16 gathers film enthusiasts from around the world to an arts cinema in the middle of Brno and offers them an insight into the creative minds of emerging filmmakers, filmmakers who are often standing at the very threshold of their careers, as they tackle the challenging form of the short film. And like all good family get-togethers, it is the atmosphere that makes it so rewarding – part intellectual, part competitive, part culture shock, part alcoholic, and definitely the kind of party that the neighbours wished they’d been invited to.”
